Cutie Baby

*I am not a child paedophile*

I have not much to post about today so I'll let you all have a look my cute step-siblings. Confused? I know .. They're the children of my dad and my step-mum .. get it .. By the way, my parents are divorced so its not like my dad's having a mistress .. ok .

Introducing the eldest one,
Britney who is about 2 this year. This little one here may look freaking sweet here but is one hell of a monster. She's better now compared to when she was younger. Had to help take care of her for 4 days when my dad and step-mum went to bangkok last year. Recently, she gave me a bite on my hand for not letting her go. It aches and looks like some love bite. Jiam thinks its sick and it certainly is. She did bite my sis and grandma too .. violent !!

One thing weird about her is that she is kind of a
sado-masochist which means she enjoys pain since she often laughs and giggles whenever I hurl pillows at her, smash her face on the bed or once fight each other by banging books on each other heads. I must however add that she's quite religious through the fact that just last week she mistook my twig-like pencil as the cross and did the cross like thing. Good girl she will be then .. hopefully. She's being spoilt to the max !!

Next is the latest addition,
Brent. Silly name rite .. Told my dad to name him Brad. He instead said that it sounded like "bad" as if that would even happen in a million years. It would be nice since his sister's name is Britney. Only a month old having been born on the 1st of July .. nice date. He was born in Los Angeles and has american citizenship. It would have been really ironic if he was actually born on the 4th of July instead .. american independence day.

Since he's still so young, I can't say much about him except that he's really
cute. Does he look like me .. hope not. People say he does though they said the same when britney was born. He's especially cute when he's sleeping. One thing is that he doesn't cry as much and as loud as other babies. Perhaps he may in a few month's time .. I repeat that I'm not a child paedophile.

Week Of Firsts

This week has been a busy one indeed with three main things to account for being jason's b'day party, concert practice and the PCD Concert.

Jason's glorious b'day was celebrated on saturday,
22/7. The date's perfectly cute. Coincidentally, it was also the birthday of almost 7 other people including our school's very own Mdm. Norita. The party was fun and fine. Reached there quite early and went home really late as well. Food and the cake was great though I had eaten the same cake thrice already ..

I must also thank Jason's parents for bringing me home all the way in Ampang when it was already almost
midnight coz the silly taxi guy who was supposed to pick me up forgot and fell asleep. I was already thinking of probably walking home .. haha. They're such nice people and Jason's a really good host. I must shamefully admit that Jason's party is one of my very first ones of my wms frens. So, thanks for the invite Jason ..

Wednesday was one of the greatest moments in my life. I went for the
Pussycat Dolls concert in Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. I was really nervous at first since it was my very first gig ever but it came to be freaking fun .. sad. I dunno how dissapointed I would have been if I missed it.

I arrived at Sunway really early at about 5.30. Even though the line to get in was already bloody long. My cousins were already there at 3 so they lined up first and i joined in. My sister and frens came only at about 7. The thing started at about 8 with reshmonu's performance which practically
"tortured my ears". Saya tak suka reshmonu ..

The dolls performance only staretd about 9-ish. They belted out all their top hits including
Buttons, Beep, Don't Cha and some other not very known songs. The thing concluded at about 10 !! Only an hour and they barely had a change of clothing .. Such a short-lived but enjoyable concert. I know they have only 1 album so far but they could have always given us more ..

I must add that some malaysians are just such
inconsiderate, stupid people. They only think of themselves not practising the "first come first serve" concept. Just beacuse they can't see or come late they come squeezing through the already packed rows. Don't they know how uncomfortable it is for others who were already there!! Before I forget, it sucks to have weird, yucky people breathing down your necks .. To end, you all can watch a video of the Buttons performance.

Khalwat ?!?!

That's it, somebody practising firing shots on M-16's during National Service (NS). The recent batch are the first to have this kind of training. Though with much criticism from the public, the government decided to go on with it only if the NS trainee feels he or she is comfortable to do so. It's strange enough owing to the fact that the officer- in-charge of a trainee must be of the same sex. As if anyone would get raped while firing M-16's .. haha

Personally, I look at this arms training thing as a propaganda-like thing to encourage more people to join the police or army .. lol. It certainly looks like when so many trainess go "It was such an enjoyable experience., i think i should join the police force to serve my country". Not all of them but there is a handful who are like that. For those desperate to hold guns, NS may probably be their last resort. Perharps the arms training may actually attract more people to join. As for me, my decision remains the same which means you'll probably
know what's it ..

By now, the whole of Malaysia would have already known that our very own Siti Nurhaliza would be getting married to that old Datuk Khalid. Rumours of her relationship with him had already been flaring for almost a year but the shocking truth is finally out ..

They'll be getting maried on August 21 at an engagement and akad nikah ceremony to be held at Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan. In accordance with all the adat melayu there will strangely be two bersanding receptions, one on August 28 at the KL Convention Centre (why ??!! .. showoff) and the other Sept 3 at Siti’s hometown in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. The first bersanding is said to be limited to invited guests only.

It's just strange if you ask me why a "hottie" like Siti would wanna marry a 47-year-old man with children from his previous marriage who looks more like her father. Siti's words - "Our 20-year age gap is not
an issue to me. As a Muslim, I believe that jodoh (match), life and death are determined by Allah. Datuk Khalid and I are fated for each other" would have easily shut me up but then let's look back at how they both met.

For those who remember, Siti became one of the only Malaysians to have ever performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. She performed to a sold
-out crowd and was later likened by BBC Radio as the 'Celine Dion of Malaysia' (can't exactly deny it though). It was at this event that they met and from then on had a 'scandalous affair' which was blanketed with rumours till this week. The reason why is that Datuk K was still married to his wife and is currently still in the divorce process. Makes me wonder why Cik Siti is so desperate for Datuk K. It's definitely not the money but Datuk K probably has special skills on bed .. who knows which translates to Siti and Datuk K comitting khalwat. How incredibly sick of I ??!!

Not to forget mentioning is the fact that Siti will be arriving in a horse-drawn carriage during one of her ceremonies. What a cinderella wannabe .. Plus, she'll be having five renowned designers for her wedding apparel including Radzuan Radziwill, Michael Ong and Khoon Hoi to name a few as well as some hot-shot veteran Malay wedding planner. Makes me wonder though why Bernard Chandran isn't on the list of designers. This better be some top-class wedding or what ..

"The next time you see our bio teacher, Siti Maheran check your book take a close look at her initials n you'll notice its Ct. Its apparently one of Siti Nurhaliza's trademark signatures. She's definitely another desperate wannabe."

Blabberings

As many of you all would already know, Israel is currently attacking Lebanon. Not many of us however know that Israel is actually just targeting the Lebanese Shi'ite Muslim militant group, Hezbollah.

All this started when Hezbollah captured 2 Israeli soldiers during a cross-border raid. These actions angered Israel and therefore Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declared the attacks against Hezbollah and generally Lebanon. At this time, the attacks have been on-going for about 4 to 5 days. Israel through its strong military force attacked lebanon in a sort of blockade. They wanted to form an air, land and sea blockade all around lebanon to restrict and contain its people and the militants from escaping out of the country. This was done primarily by bombing the runways of Beirut International Airport, bridges and all roads in or leading out of the country especially to Syria. The navy also patrolled the sea ports of lebanon.

Hezbollah also responded to these attacks by launching katyusha rockets to the northern parts of israel hitting the towns of Nahariya and the the third-largest port-city of Haifa. These rockets have been imploding northern israel every few hours and so do the israeli air strikes in lebanon. People living in both countries are in constant danger with hundreds of men, women and children already either killed or injured. Israel's air strikes have been mainly targeted at the southern part of lebanon's capital, Beirut as this is said to be the headquarters of Hezbollah.

This issue has garnered lots of attention from its neighbours particularly the west. President George W. Bush is blaming Syria and Iran for the attacks. Syria and Iran, constant supporters of Hezbollah are said to be fuelling the attacks by providing the necessary weaponry and etc. Lebanon has also been blamed for not exercising enough power and restraint on its territories which is not entirely possible since 20% of the government is filled with hezbollah party members. There has been no talk on the role Israel has played in this.

This important issue has been a huge talk from the G8 summit being held in St.Petersburg, Russia to the emergency Arab League meeting in Cairo, Egypt and even in the UN Security Council. The G8 which is considered as the 8 most powerful countries in the world play a significant role in this confrontation while the two mediator-Arab countries Jordan and Egypt have not done much to appease the situation. There was certainly however a huge clash of words between delegates of Israel, Lebanon and Syria at the UN Security Council last friday.

These attacks are also bringing a negative impact throughout the world affecting world economies and causing stock markets to tumble. Oil prices this week are threatening to rise up to US$80 per barrel. This is mainly because of the further increase in oil prices which has already been aggravated by the United States attacks on Iraq, Nigerian pipeline blasts, Hurricane Katrina last year, Iran’s nuclear program and the recent missile launch by North Korea. If this situation continues, it may in turn force us to tighten our pockets and spending. The aviation industry which relies highly on oil as fuel will be heavily affected. We may very well turn to hybrid cars in the future as a main form of transport.

To interest you people out there, let's relive that very unglamorous headbutt moment of zidane during the final match with very strange-sounding commentary. I find that its rather unfair if materazzi really insulted his family but well he could have always controlled his emotions. Its now already over so there's really not much to debate about anymore.

Meanwhile, a few schools in Japan are apparently making their students take 'power-naps' after lunch everyday. The naps are said to help ease the students memories. However, the naps must not be more than 20 minutes as you would have fallen into deep-sleep thus feeling blur and drowsy. This is one thing wms should be doing .. haha. Who wants to start a petition .. lolx

WAGS

This post is about the WAGS
. Before any sick or inappropriate fantasies come to mind WAGS generally refer to the "Wives and Girlfriends" of the famous soccer players though its generally used for those of the English players. While most of the players stole most of the limelight during the World Cup, their partners never seemed to fade with news of their extravagant shopping sprees to their not very decent behaviour around Germany.

As quoted in the English tabloids, "Victoria Beckham and the other England World Cup 'WAGS' (wives and girlfriends) stormed the luxury boutiques of Baden-Baden at the weekend, spending 80,000 euros ($101,000 dollars) in one hour. Six of the women who joined the English side in the upscale resort town, including the former Spice Girl (wife of David Beckham) and girlfriends Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney), Melanie Slade (Theo Walcott), Cheryl Tweedy (Ashley Cole) and Nancy Dell'Olio (coach Sven-Goran Eriksson) had gone on a manic shopping spree. 'While their bread-winners trained for the next match on Tuesday, the ladies worked on their shopping endurance'. The women spent 4,395 euros in 10 minutes alone on shoes and T-shirts, with the rest going for creations from Dolce and Gabbana, Prada and Versace, according to the report. "I hope England stays in the competition for a while," delighted boutique owner Monika Scholz was quoted as saying .. extravagant I say. "

Over the whole World Cup period, the WAGS are said to have racked up a staggering £1million holiday bill for their accomadation, over-clubbing and personal needs. One of the group's biggest spenders was Frank Lampard's fiance, Elen Rives who is said to have forked out an impressive £28,607 in addition to her £26,000 hotel room bill. Theo Walcott's 17-year-old girlfriend, Melanie Slade, was the most restrained one spending less than £5,000. Due to a mix-up in the bookings, she was shunted 300 metres down the road in a family run hotel where rooms cost a mere £200 a night.

If this isn't already bad, the
WAGS are in talks about starring in a new reality TV show called 'FW Boutique'. The series will pit two teams against each other as they open rival boutiques; the team that has made the biggest profit after three months wins the series. Among those in talks about the show are Wayne Rooney's fiancée Coleen McLoughlin; Steven Gerrard's fiancée Alex Curran; Theo Walcott's girlfriend Melanie Slade; Joe Cole's partner Carly Zucker and Frank Lampard's fiancée Elen Rives. Can't wait for this reality show to hit our shores if it does go into production ..

In a rather recent poll in England, Asley Cole's fiance, Girls Aloud member Chery Tweedy was voted as the 'hottest' surpassing the ever popular Victoria Beckham. A minority of you out there would probably be fantasizing over such extravagant luxuries of life. Many of us would probably reject such crazy antics. Well, England's upcoming manager is going to ban the WAGS from all future football tournaments. Harsh though if you ask me. Whether or not this is true, we'll just have to wait and see probably during the Euro 2008 period.

Trophys, Awards and Accolades

At the end of each World Cup finals, several outstanding players and teams receive awards for distinguishing themselves from the rest in different aspects of football. There are currently six of these main awards.

The first would be the Golden Ball. The adidas Golden Ball is always awarded to the most outstanding player in the tournament. A shortlist is drawn up by the FIFA technical committee and with only players who reached the last four considered eligible for selection, the winner will be voted for by representatives of the media. This year's shortlist included Thierry Henry, Zinedine Zidane and Patrick Viera of France, Michael Ballack and Miroslav Klose of Germany, Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavarro, Andrea Pirlo and Gianluca Zambrotta of Italy as well as Maniche of Portugal.

It was finally decided that the great Zinedine Zidane would receive the Golden Ball award for his excellent skills. He did receive it after the match despite of the red card he received. This would have definitely made him proud being a great kind of retirement gift for himself and France. The Silver Ball and Bronze Ball awards were awarded to Fabio Canavarro and Andrea Pirlo respectively. The 2006 World Cup was the first time that the top three players came from fewer than three countries.

The second award is the Golden Shoe. Commercially known as the adidas Golden Shoe Award, it goes to the top goalscorer of the FIFA World Cup. This award was introduced at the 1930 World Cup for the first time. In case of a tie whereby two or more players have the same number of goals scored, the positions are decided by the number of assists made by each player during the tournament. If two players are still tied, the one who has disputed the least number of minutes will be declared the winner. The FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG) decides which assists should count as such.

This year's winner is German forward,
Miroslav Klose scoring a total of five goals in seven matches. Germany can surely be happy despite claiming the third-place spot this time. Hernan Crespo (Argentina) and Ronaldo (Brazil) finished second and third claiming the Silver Shoe and Bronze Shoe awards respectively providing both with some consolation for exiting the tournament at the quarter-final stage. Although the two were tied on three goals and one assist each, it was Crespo who took the silver having spent just 305 minutes on the pitch compared with 409 for Ronaldo.

Another award is the Lev Yashin award. This award for the Best Goalkeeper is named in honour of the late Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin (USSR). The FIFA Technical Study Group recognizes the top goalkeeper of the tournament based on the player’s performance throughout the final competition. This time, this cov
eted award was won by Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon who succesfully brought Italy to glory during the final penalty shootout.

One more award is the Best Young Player award. The Gillette Best Young Player Award recognises the impact made by young f
ootballers in their first FIFA World Cup. This award was introduced this year to honour these young talents. The tournament is constantly being rejuvenated by fresh talent - many of these players are relatively unknown even before the opening ceremony, but emerge as household names after the event. New players change the face of football and are bound to bring success to their countries in the near future.

The winner for this inagural award is German striker, Lukas Podolski who managed to score 3 goals in total. From a full list of 40 players to the short-list of 6 players, he is definitely a good choice. Among the other short-listed players are Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Lionel Messi (Argentina), Cesc Fabregas (Spain), Luis Valencia (Ecuador)and Tranquila Banetta (Switzerland). All players born on or after 1 January 1985 who play in the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 will qualify for the award.

The other two awards are team awards. One of them is the FIFA Fair Play Trophy. This award is given to the team with the best record of fair play, sportsmanship and good conduct both on and off the pitch during the World Cup final tournament, according to a points system and criteria established by the FIFA Committee for Ethics and Fair Play. Only teams which reach the Round of 16 are considered eligible for the prize.

The squads will share the prestigious FIFA Fair Play Trophy as well as receiving medals for each member of their playing and coaching staff, a certificate, and a voucher for 50,000 US dollars worth of sporting material to be used in youth development. Brazil and Spain (yeah !!!) have been chosen as the joint winners of the FIFA Fair Play Trophy for the 2006 World Cup by the FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG).

Another team award is the FIFA Award for the Most Entertaining Team. This is a fairly new accolade for the FIFA World Cup. It is a subjectively awarded prize for the team which has done the most to entertain the public with a positive approach to the game. The award is always organized through public participation in a poll. The lucky winners for the 2006 World Cup is Portugal with their ever-so-energetic bunch of players.

Finally, it has been the tradition of naming the all-star team based on the performances of players from all the participitating teams. The Mastercard All-Star Team is a team of the best 23 players, chosen by FIFA's technical study group, from the World Cup Finals. It is as follows :

Goalkeepers
  • Gianluigi Buffon (Italy)
  • Jens Lehmann (Germany)
  • Ricardo (Portugal)
Defenders
  • Roberto Ayala (Argentina)
  • John Terry (England)
  • Lilian Thuram (France)
  • Philip Lahm (Germany)
  • Fabio Cannarravo (Italy)
  • Gianluca Zambrotta (Italy)
  • Ricardo Carvalho (Portugal)
Midfielders
  • Ze Roberto (Brazil)
  • Patrick Vieira (France)
  • Zinedine Zidane (France)
  • Michael Ballack (Germany)
  • Andrea Pirlo (Italy)
  • Gennaro Gattuso (Italy)
  • Luis Figo (Portugal)
  • Maniche (Portugal)
Forwards
  • Hernan Crespo (Argentina)
  • Thierry Henry (France)
  • Miroslav Klose (Germany)
  • Francesco Totti (Italy)
  • Luca Toni (Italy)

Forza Italia !!

Italy Has Won The World Cup !!

Italy beat France to go their way winning the the world cup to prove critics wrong. In spite of all the trouble back home with the match-fixing scandals, they have succesfully fought all odds to claim the winning title.

I must say that although I had hated France with all my might, I ended up rooting for France to win in this match. There were a few bad signs from
the start though especially with Thierry Henry getting a lil injured in the first few minutes. However, the first goal of the match from Zidane's penalty kick was just mesmerising. It was top-class and could only be done by such a talented player. Italy then went on scoring their first goal minutes later. The game went on strong with defense on both sides being equally strong.

The game went on with additional 30 minutes and later the penalty shootout whereby Italy defeated France , 5-3. Things started going out of hand with Zidane in the 3o minutes when he was red-carded out of the match for head-butting Marco Materazzi. It was very unsure as to why he did so but I think Marco Materazzi provoked him earlier on. That instant
I knew France was already going down. As for Zidane, people usually retire from stuff in glory but it was the total opposite for him. He left the field and wasn't even allowed to collect the runner-up medal with the others. As if it was not already bad, that his side lost.

As for the penalty shootout, I knew France would already lose out as Gianluigi Buffon is definitely a stronger goalkeeper compared to Fabien Barthez. I had never liked Fabien Barthez as France's goalkeeper throughout. He was an item of the past ..

There are two new theory's which have been proven this world cup. The first would be that "the country with the better food will win", proudly proclaimed by the amoeba. The Italians without doubt have better cuisine than the French. The second theory shall be explained through the following conversation between ah-pek fortune teller/astrologist and desperate 4D hobo.

Hobo : I want strike 4D lah !!
Ah Pek : Tomorrow go buy .. sure strike .. now pay me.
Hobo : What makes you think so ??!
Ah Pek : Bcoz Italy win mah .. believe me lar
Hobo : Harr .. why ar ?
Ah Pek : Every Year of the Dog, I predict that only Brazil or Italy will win one !! It is a proven theory .. that's why Italy win lar .. Thats why you must believe me !
Hobo : Ok lar .. make sure ah .. I go buy magnum, kuda and toto 100 all .. sure kena one lor (pays ah pek rm 300 - for silly useless consultation)
Ah Pek : Thank you ah .. you sure win tomolo

Hobo leaves and ah pek laughs his head off ..

My very first attempt to include a dialogue in my post seems ever so lame. For those who don't understand, Chinese fortune tellers / astrologists
succesfully predicted that every Year of the Dog which this year is which at the same time occurs every twelve years, only Brazil or Italy have won. Thus, their theory is proven right and more silly people will be seeing them for whatever crap they need. That way anyone can just pretend to be one.

Well, the Italians win will definitely mean a lot. If you are not familiar with the Italian match-fixing scandal, four top S
erie A clubs have been accused of choosing referees which favour their teams. The four clubs involved are Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Florentina. They now face relegation from the first to the second or even third division of Italian football and may even be stripped of all Serie A titles claimed.

This will be bad news for all the top players for these clubs. There have been calls for amnesty because of the success of the Italian team in the World Cup since nearly 19 out 0f the 23 players in the Italian squad belong to either one of the clubs. However, an amnesty would seriously diminish the image of Italian football. Most sides have c
alled for appropriate punishment to be given for this injustice. With the Italian's win now, things may hopefully change ..

New Programs ..

These applications may not seem that new but it kind of is on my comp, so who cares. They are Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Live Messenger.

I'll start with the Windows Media Player Ver. 11 which is extremely Vista-ish. By Vista, I meant Windows Vista the newest unreleased OS
. Its coated in like full glossy black making it look classy. The menus and interface has also been improvised making your usage easier. The main difference if this version from its predecessors is probably the ability of this one to store and view photos and videos.

Another new feature would be the album covers for the various songs. It may be useless at times because many of my songs still do not have album covers. The album covers take up lots of screen space but you can always change it to the traditional list-type of songs. A new online music service by MTV has also been added to the player allowing it to be accesed directly. Its something similar to Apple's iTunes online music shop thingamajig. There is also a new search bar at the top to immediately find songs you want.

I must however admit that I do dislike this player. The older versions were much more simple and convenient if you ask me. I'm just lazy to download the old one again. The verdict is, unless you're desperate for a classy looking media player, don't bother downloading this. Assuming all computers would already be using Windows Vista in 5 years time, every computer will probably feature this media player.

Next on is the Windows Live Messenger which is yet another very Vista-ish program. This too looks very much different compared to the older versio
ns. It takes longer to sign-in with this one in my opinion. Colours used are much glossier and lighter but the new logos lok kinda cute. The look isn't that appealing to me and I once again prefer the older versions .. lol . Enjoy the views (sorry that they're a lil blur) . .

World Cup Ads

This will be a relatively short post. There have been many advertisements on tv nowadays in conjunction with the world cup especially those by maxis. One of my favourites is this adidas ad where 2 mexican (i think) boys decide to play football and summons the player of their choice for their team. Really cool ad with many of the top players like david beckham, zidane, oliver kahn, frank lampard, cisse, steven gerrard, sweinsteiger, defoe and so on. Its funny seeing the boys command the players.

Some of the maxis advertisements on tv are nice too especially the one with the ball changing locations. Nice music. Soothing .. Meanwhile, David Beckham has decided that his days as England captain will end after their lacklustre performance. He will still however continue playing with England. Must be a very sad decision and its reported that he was close to tears when announcing his decision. He did have tears in his eyes after he limped out of the england vs portugal match half-way. Rumours are flying that John Terry will probably be replacing him although I would prefer steven gerrard. Let's hope for the best for this team in 2010 at South Africa.

At Long Last

Believe it or not, the FIFA World Cup officially ends in about a weeks time. Time really flies by especially with matches going almost non-stop day by day. Sadly, Spain and probably every other team I thought would reach the finals has gone out. For the knowledge of all you out there, I had been sick all this especially on tuesday. Still, I woke up at 3 am to watch the Spain vs France match only to be devastated by the result whereby France won.

Spain was leading at first with David Villa's free kick but I knew they were out when Patrick Viera scored France's second goal. With France's third goal by Zidane, my heart almost felt like stopping for a second .. lol. Yup, that's how sad and devastated I was. Funny feeling. Its just terrible that France was given the penalty kick coz it looks more like Thierry Henry who pushed Puyol. Well, I'm over it by now of course. On Wednesday, I didn't go to school and people actually thought it was because Spain lost and had been eliminated .. haha. Let's just hope Spain's very young team will shine brighter in 2010 at South Africa.

If this wasn't bad enough, the other two teams I had also thought of advancing which are England and Brazil both went out last night. England's under-performing team lost to Portugal in the penalty shootout while Brazil lost to France (repeat of 98 finals). Well, these two teams didn't look like they were doing that well either from the start. I'm now hoping for either a Germany vs Portugal or France vs Germany final match. We'll just watch on till the moment arrives on 9 July !!

While many footie fans will probably be in misery like how I was a few days back, we here in Kuala Lumpur have something to rejoice about. It was announced yesterday that INXS would be having a concert here on
August 18 at Stadium Negara according to The Star !! They will still however also perform in Singapore .. damn. So KL-ites, book your tickets early since it'll probably be the only international act left of 2006 for KL. If some do not know INXS is this Australian band which used to be very popular but mellowed down after one of their members committed suicide. They back again after finding their new lead singer, J.D. Fortune from the succesful reality show Rockstar INXS last year.

There will be a similar reality show this year entitled Rockstar Supernova but this time the winner will be the new member of the rock n roll band, Supernova. Its starting on Star World next week and lets hope there will be a Malaysian there since they did have auditions here back in April.
